 Master class on painting birds and presentation of a book about Owls

 September 12, 2015, at 15.00 h. in the Zoological Museum, Biological Faculty Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Hrushevskyy Str. 4) held a master class in painting birds from famous Ukrainian animal artist Ihor Zemlyanskych and presentation of popular books about owls " The guards Night."

The master class and the presentation made under the Project "Feathered friends" that unites professionals and hobbyists who are studying birds. The project participants are exceptionally volunteer and try to make the knowledge of birds as accessible to the general population.

Ihor Zemlyanskych famous animal artist from the city of Boryspil, Kyiv region, by illustrations, literally, for most books devoted to the birds, published in Ukraine over the past decade. During the master class artist not only teach the secrets of art realistic images of birds, but also talk about his admiration for the experience of ornithology rescue birds that find themselves in trouble. Meetings of this unique man leave nobody indifferent.

During the master class will be presented the book "The guards Night" written by Kharkiv ornithologist Yegor Yatsyuk and illustrated by Ihor Zemlyanskych. The book is also published under the Project "Feathered friends" and dedicated a very secret group of our birds – Owls. It contains information on the biology and ecology, as well as specific descriptions Owls of Ukraine. 48 pages edition contains 70 color illustrations.

 Welcome all interested persons not indifferent to reading, drawing and wildlife.
